Objective slides for December!  Slides include SEL pictures for beginning of class conversation.

I recently posted about using "Ahorita" by Inga Paterson-Zuñiga, a Flangoo Digital Reader, with Realidades 1/Autentico 1 with Capítulo 4A ¿Adónde vas unit. Here are some of the activities that I did with this reader:

Here's a simple Todo Sobre Mi template that is yet effective. It incorporates  the Para Empezar unit in Realidades 1/Autentico 1 but can be used with any novice level curriculum. I have students complete this the first week of school - I don't grade it for perfection, just completion, no rubric necessary. Click on the image to make a copy.

Do you have to post your objectives every day? I do! I have created a google slides template that helps me keep it all in one place. I just change the info, sometimes I save it and copy for the next day depending on what I need them for, but it's always easy to use. Click on the image below to get an editable copy.

Are you using Realidades/Autentico 1? I have made a pacing guide geared towards teaching 7th and 8th grade Spanish 1, however, it can be changed to meet your needs if you are teaching high school. This pacing guide is thematic but I am also using it to plan the readers my students will be using.Click on the first image to make a copy

I love using "Dibuja y Escribe" to assess comprehension of stories we are reading in class. I use this one! You can print or use it virtually.

Teaching about prepositions? Use the picture prompt/picture talk, ¿Donde están los gatos? to get students creativity flowing!

Teaching -ar verbs? This is a quick, fun and engaging Tic Tac Toe Jamboard template to get your students activity participating. Use it as a quick pop grammar lesson before using a comprehension based story. Template is editable!
